Richard Hatch Autograph for charity

Hi Guys!
So I have an autograph from Richard Hatch that he donated that is being auctioned off for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS!  The autograph also includes a print of the photo of Richard holding his autograph!

You can find this TAX DEDUCTIBLE auction at RICHARD HATCH AUCTION!
Thank you!
Madeline

What I didn't say on the plane!

When the flight attendant gave a cheesy speech of Welcome to SF and said "And remember, don't leave your heart here!" and I wanted to mutter, "Well unless you die in a motorcycle accident leaving your torso undamaged and someone in San Francisco is waiting for a heart transplant in which case go ahead" because the people next to me probably would have been perturbed.

It's so nice to be home! Although I miss WisCon!

A couple of years ago, I blogged about the launch of PW Select, an online supplement to the regular PW magazine. PW Select, which is published quarterly, allows self-published writers to buy brief listings (author, title, subtitle, price, pagination and format, ISBN, a brief description, and ordering information) for $149. With every issue of the supplement, a limited number of books--around 25%--are chosen for review.

Your hemi-semi-weekly Vietnamese proverb

“Chở củi về rừng”: “carrying wood into the forest/jungle”. Doing useless things (like “carrying coal to Newcastle”, an English proverb I learnt at the same time as the Vietnamese one). Hahaha, that one is hilarious.

In other news, I have 3k words on the novel. One of my fave characters just showed up (great cook, good sense of humour, major temper. What’s not to love). Just one more scene, and I’ll be done with chapter 1!

Going all the way back to the '90s, Will Smith has been an action movie stalwart for nearly two decades—and throughout that time, he's dropped his fair share of quips. But, watching them all crammed into an approximately 2 minute clip? Now that's cine-magic.

Yet another new trailer has been released for the new Total Recall reboot, showing off some sweeping new action shots and what looks to be a mighty big fall.

With the second season of HBO's monster hit wrapping up its second season next Sunday, its producers are already deep into planning the third season. And they've already decided which characters from George R.R. Martin's third Song of Ice and Fire book, A Storm of Swords, will get added to the already-sprawling ensemble.

It may have had a bit of cheese coming off the edges, but the 1997 big-screen adaptation of Robert Heinlein's novel Starship Troopers is still one of the most awesomely crazy sci-fi action movies out there. The even lower-budget, direct-to-DVD sequels? Not so much.

Here's the problem with Thor: His rogue's gallery is more of a collection than a gallery. He's not overflowing with titanic baddies. With Thor 2 heating up—and Marvel's cinematic honcho promising a "major, major" villain—we started thinking of who it might be.

So is Benedict Cumberbatch playing Khan or not in the upcoming Star Trek 2? In yet another twist to the whole Khan-not-Khan saga, actor Simon Pegg, who plays the U.S.S. Enterprise's chief engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, says he's NOT. And he's really annoyed with you about it.
