Going to the chapel

Snoopy
This weekend, [info]semisuite, her parents, and I went chapel shopping. We only looked at one really. Upon seeing it, I knew immediately it was the chapel. The fiancee seemed to love it just as much. Small, quaint, cozy, intimate...all of these words work pretty well to describe it. A fear that I've had since the Stone Age is some ginormous church with so much empty space, where it's so big it's just annoying and overshadowing and dizzying. Not this one. It's even got a steeple, if you're a steeple lover like me.

Anyways, two pictures are below the cut. I know you want to clicky click so just go ahead.

We are also 99.999999% sure (Tara's phrasing) of the reception location, but we'll save all those finer details for official announcements and all that jazz. It's not like we're inviting LiveJournal and a guest or anything. Stop crying, LJ. There's no crying in baseball wedding plans.

The chapel looks cool. But can I call it a church instead? Chapel just sounds a little funny.

Nope. You can't. Cause the church is across the street. It's an actual chapel. :P

As I said on twitter over the weekend - that chapel is GORGEOUS. As an atheist (Adam is as well) I assume we would both burst into flames should we try to get married in a chapel, but that gorgeous one would almost make it worth the risk - beautiful wood work and beams - small and intimate. Really a nice choice guys. You got so much done in this first weekend...I hope it all goes equally as smoothly for the both of you.
